How to Upload ECR File to EPFO Portal
Log into EPFO Portal
Use your credentials to access the EPFO Unified Portal.
Navigate to ECR Upload
Go to the “Payments” tab and select “ECR Upload.”

Select the prepared file and upload it. The portal will validate the file against predefined conditions.
Verify and Generate TRRN
Once validation is successful, click “Verify” to generate the Temporary Return Reference Number (TRRN).
Prepare Challan
Generate the ECR summary sheet and adjust contributions if needed. Click “Generate Challan.”
Finalize Challan
Review the draft challan and finalize it. You can download acknowledgment and receipt files.
Make Payment
Choose “Online Payment” and select your bank to complete the payment through the gateway.
